Our innovative Hydra Facial device uses the power of water and oxygen to gently exfoliate and hydrate the skin, dissolving the sebum, bacteria and cosmetic residue in the pores. Simultaneously, it maximizes blood flow to the skin and helps to stimulate the production of collagen. It exfoliates and removes impurities while also delivering deep cleansing, exfoliating and antioxidant solutions into the skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How does HydraFacial work?

At Aesthera Skin Studio, we are using 8 technologies in one device:

  • Ultrasonic scrubber - utilizes ultrasonic waves to help loosen and remove oil, dirt, and cellular debris from pores to improve skin complexion.

  • Diamond dermabrasion - microdermabrasion wand uses a diamond tip, to exfoliate the top layer of the skin. The vacuum action the dead cells, blackheads and impurities are removed to reveal an improved tone and texture for a brighter, clearer, and much smoother complexion.

  • Plasma - a specialized handpiece that ionizes the gasses in the air to produce a controlled arc of energy. This energised gas can be used to target specific areas of the skin for rejuvenation, assisting in the appearance of scarring, uneven skin tone and target the bacteria causing acne.

  • Ultrasound - delivers targeted energy into the deeper layers of the skin, triggering the body’s natural wound healing response, promoting newer, stronger collagen formation. Its benefits are skin tightening and wrinkle reduction and can also aid in the appearance of scarring and open pores.

  • Multipolar bio muscle stimulation - specialised electrodes precisely channel energy deep into the skin’s layers, triggering controlled muscle contractions in the facial region. This unique approach contributes to strengthening and toning the facial muscles, resulted in a lifted, more well-defined, and rejuvenated appearance. It can counteract the effects of muscle atrophy, which naturally occurs with age, helping to combat sagging and loss of muscle tone.

  • RF bipolar - generates energy heat in the tissue, resulting in collagen remodelling, tissue tightening and enhances cellular metabolism for improved cell function and tissue health.

  • Nano spray-used to infuse deeper into the skin serums and solutions tailored for your skin type and concerns. By producing a fine mist, evenly distributed, the skin is left feeling hydrated and looking luminous.

Explore Common Concerns

  • Lines and Wrinkles

Lines and wrinkles are a natural part of aging, but they can also be influenced by various factors.

    • Aging
As we age, our skin loses collagen and elastin, leading to a decrease in skin elasticity and firmness. This results in the formation of lines and wrinkles.

    • Sun Exposure
Prolonged exposure to the sun's harmful UV rays can accelerate skin aging and lead to the development of premature lines and wrinkles.

    • Smoking
Smoking can contribute to the breakdown of collagen and elastin in the skin, hastening the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

    • Facial Expressions
Repetitive facial movements, such as smiling, squinting, or furrowing the brow, can lead to the formation of dynamic wrinkles over time.

    Volume Loss

Volume loss in the face is a common aspect of aging that can lead to a hollow or sunken appearance.

    • Aging
As we get older, the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid decreases, leading to a loss of skin elasticity and volume. This can result in a sagging or deflated look in certain areas of the face.

    • Genetics
Some individuals may be more predisposed to experiencing volume loss due to genetic factors that influence the structure and composition of their skin and tissues.

    • Weight Loss
Rapid or significant weight loss can also contribute to volume loss in the face, as fat stores are reduced, resulting in a loss of fullness in certain facial areas.

    • Sun Exposure
Prolonged exposure to UV rays can accelerate the breakdown of collagen and elastin in the skin, hastening the loss of volume and contributing to premature aging.

    Tear Troughs

Under eye darkness and bags are common concerns that can be influenced by a variety of factors.

    • Aging
As we age, the skin around the eyes becomes thinner and less elastic, making blood vessels and underlying structures more visible. This can lead to the appearance of under eye darkness and bags.

    • Genetics
Genetics can play a significant role in under eye darkness and bags, with some individuals predisposed to having thinner skin or a specific anatomical structure that contributes to these concerns.

    • Lifestyle Factors
Lack of sleep, stress, poor diet, dehydration, and excessive sun exposure can exacerbate under eye darkness and bags, making these concerns more prominent.

    • Allergies and Sinus Issues
Allergies, sinus congestion, and other underlying health conditions can cause fluid retention and inflammation around the eyes, leading to puffiness and dark circles.
